Exclusionary Criteria
New Haven Does Not Work With...
New Haven is designed to work with a wide range of complex emotional and behavioral issues, but we do not work with the following situations and diagnoses:
- Medical Instability
- History of Physical Violence
- Pregnancy
- Parental Non-Participation
- Non-English Speaking
- Severe Autism
- Low IQ (below 80)
- Anti-Social or Conduct Disorder
- Psychosis
*Students older than 17-years-nine-months not admitted; however, students who turn 18 while in treatment may stay until their 19th birthday.
